LVCF Evening to welcome Hashim

On 27th September we held a charity evening at the 'Z' bar in Hackney to welcome Hashim to the country. Hashim is the headmaster of the school in the Bagrote Valley in Northern Pakistan where our volunteer teachers, Ruth and Tim, taught last year (2013). Ruth and Tim raised funds to bring Hashim over to the UK to learn English so that he could return and  help his staff and pupils at the school, and LVCF made contributions to this funding.
